These tools provide you the option to either take a screenshot (take a picture of something on your screen) or screencast (record actions displayed on your screen, "video recording").  Each has its pros and cons, but all are a worth taking a look at to see which one fits your needs.  All of the following apps/extensions are located on the Chrome Web Store (google the phrase "Chrome Web Store").
